Inspired by the up-tempo rhythms of Samba’s drumbeats and whistle tweets as well as the soothing, poetic melodies of Bossa Nova, the dancing orchids in Brazilian Alchemy transform themselves into the 26 letters of the Brazilian alphabet.

Every year, millions of Brazilians participate in the famous Carnival parade in which percussion instruments transfer energizing vibrations through dancing bodies to reach a spirit that is in harmony with nature. One of South America’s liveliest countries, Brazil boasts over 200 languages, with Portuguese spoken in the majority. The colorful exoticism of Brazil is portrayed through famous Carnival masks, bright feathers, decorated drums, and some of the country’s distinct, indigenous fruits-the caju, cupuassu, and acai among others.
